Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has unveiled a unique program called ‘The Ten’ that aims to showcase and reward the discovery of the top 10 sports cards in the market. Drawing inspiration from popular lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, ‘The Ten’ features a dynamic selection of ten cards from various sports. Collectors who successfully find one of these rare cards on the Fanatics Live app will be rewarded with $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

‘The Ten’ program will have a monthly rotation of cards, carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Among the initial lineup is the highly coveted 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card, as well as the yet-to-be-discovered 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list includes a mix of legendary athletes such as Tom Brady and Steph Curry, as well as rising stars like MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. This diverse collection features cards from recognized brands like Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, the senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, highlights the program’s goal of enhancing the collecting experience while giving back to the collectors and the hobby. By involving the Fanatics Live app participants and the collecting community in the monthly card selections, the initiative aims to foster community engagement and create a sense of inclusivity.

‘The Ten’ program also serves as a platform to promote new products and generate excitement around existing card releases with chase cards. It provides both dealers and collectors an opportunity to showcase these rare and valuable cards, leading to increased discussion and enthusiasm within the community.

To celebrate major discoveries and unveil the upcoming cards, Fanatics Live plans to feature pack and box breaks, as well as special shows centered around ‘The Ten’. Additionally, a dedicated webpage will track the cards and their discoverers, adding an exciting narrative element to the program.

One of the standout aspects of ‘The Ten’ program is its focus on the stories behind the collectors and their finds. By emphasizing the unique stories and experiences of collectors, Fanatics Live aims to offer a refreshing and memorable aspect to the collecting journey. This approach, combined with the program’s potential to further establish Fanatics Live as a community-focused platform, has contributed to its consistent growth since its debut, with an average watch time of 56 minutes.

James Kollar expressed his enthusiasm for the program’s potential impact on the Fanatics brand and the collector community. With the introduction of ‘The Ten’ program, Fanatics Collectibles aims to provide collectors with an exciting and rewarding experience while fostering a strong sense of community and engagement.

In conclusion, ‘The Ten’ program by Fanatics Collectibles and Fanatics Live provides collectors with the opportunity to discover and be rewarded for finding the top 10 sports cards in the market. Through community engagement, storytelling, and unique card selections, this initiative aims to enhance the collecting experience while generating excitement and discussion within the collecting community.
